Sarah Martin
Provisional Psychologist
Sarah (she/her) is a psychologist with experience working with young people of all ages, parents, and adults. Sarah has a passion for helping others through understanding behaviour and also has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources. With her warm and genuine nature, Sarah focuses on establishing a supportive and safe space for each client. She works with a variety of presentations and brings a strengths-based approach to assist individuals and families in aligning with their values and goals.
Sarah’s practice is client-centered, tailored to suit the individual and considers into the broader family context. She incorporates a diverse range of evidence-based techniques and therapeutic styles, such as ACT, CBT, DBT, compassion-focused therapy, positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, attachment and family systems frameworks, and play-based therapy. She particularly values interventions that are engaging, fun and practical.
Sarah collaborates with the broader support network of individuals, including parents, schools, and allied health teams, as needed. Sarah recognises the courage it takes to engage in therapy and values the bravery individuals and families demonstrate when seeking support.
