Alyssa Balancio
Senior Occupational Therapist

Alyssa graduated from The University of Queensland in 2009 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Alyssa has had a great deal of experience working with children, particularly those children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Alyssa is very passionate about her role as an Occupational Therapist and aims to provide a high quality service to assist not only the children she works with but also their families and significant others (e.g. teachers, teacher aides).

Alyssa strongly believes in working with families to assess a child’s needs and provide strategies that are going to work for the child and family. She thoroughly enjoys working with children and making a positive impact to their ongoing development. Alyssa wants to achieve the best outcome for the children and ensures she works with other important people in a child’s life including their family, childcare staff, teachers and other therapists.
