Melinda graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia. With a passion for working with children, Melinda has gained over 5 years of experience working with children in various settings. As an undergraduate she conducted outreach therapy in an underprivileged country; working with both adults, children and their families. She aims to excel in her services and provide children, families and carers with engaging individualised support and interventions.

Melinda meets every client with an inspired and motivated approach to their lifestyle; ensuring personalised and functional sessions, promoting confidence and engagement. She provides support for children to adapt their skills within the home, school and out in the community. Melinda enjoys collaborating closely with caregivers, teachers and other health professionals to ensure that services address all meaningful aspects of life. Communication and rapport, are two vital components that Melinda strives to maintain with children and their family, which she believes are essential for holistic support. She works to explore the child’s strengths and interests to centre each intervention around the individual. Melinda is dedicated to developing positive relationships and providing purposeful services which fit into the lifestyle of the child, their home and their school.
