Jenny Xu

Jenny completed a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) at the Queensland University of Technology. Jenny is trained in Circle of Security, 123 Magic Parenting Program, Resourceful Adolescent Program (RAP) and You Can Do It! Educational Program. Jenny works with children, adolescents and their classroom teachers and families to deliver therapy focussing on addressing emotional, social, behavioural and learning difficulties; parenting support; and anxiety, depression and anger management. She also has a keen interest in supporting children from traumatic backgrounds.

Jenny provides a range of support services, including developmental and learning assessments, counselling and evidence based interventions. Her key areas of interest are early parenting and child-parent attachment. Jenny has also researched the importance of prevention and intervention of school bullying and is committed to providing individualised support to children and their families. Jenny speaks native Mandarin/Chinese. She is available on Monday and Tuesday.
